Healing Bone Broth (GF & DF)

Ingredients

  • Free range/organic whole chicken carcass (3 chicken backs works too)
  • 3 cups of chopped carrots (for sweetness)
  • 1 Ginseng root (medium to large)
  • Filtered water
  • 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar

Tools

  • Pressure Cooker

Directions

  1. Boil Ginseng for 20 minutes in small pot of water (keep water)
    • Ginseng root is very hard to cut, this will soften the root for ease of cutting
  2. While Ginseng cooks, cut carrots
  3. Put chicken carcass into pressure cooker
  4. Add cut ginseng & carrots
  5. Cover ingredients with Ginseng water (use filtered water if you need more). Cover just enough so that everything is covered, not more
  6. Add vinegar, cover cooker
  7. Cook for 1 hr
